The Question: | “Tips on getting results for bars, clubs, hookah lounges, any videos or articles I should look at?”

Short Answer: | It’s all about the offer! Don’t just advertise your business, provide value to your potential customers!

Expanded: | We have seen many variations of this theme of question, asking about getting results for this or for that, and the answer is more times than not the same. Its all about the offer!!! Yes of course your targeting parameters are a huge factor, your ad copy obviously plays a role, the media(image or video) you use with your ad is very important. But the most important thing that you need to consider is the offer.

As stated above, you don’t just want to advertise your business, as in just slapping up an ad with your logo talking about what you offer and a link to your website. Thats not going to yield a high CTR. No Clicks = No Conversions.

This is where the offer comes in, the whole “Providing Your Potential Customers with Value” thing. And value can come in so many forms, this is where the creative thinking comes in and you need to value stack different services and resources at a discounted rate or for FREE if you can, but again that depends on the offer. Theres just so many possibilities.

To expand on the “Value Stack”, say your running a promotion for your bar, an “ok” offer could be a no cover charge for the individual, but an even “better” offer would be; No cover charge, 2 free drinks, and a free appetizer(small portion, something easy, low cost). So as you can see the more value stacking the more enticing the offer becomes. Leading to more clicks, more opt-ins for retargeting, which means more conversions, more people at your bar. (They will order more drinks and food after they finish off the free, lol.)

Some could say, “What if they just come for the free stuff and leave?”, to that I say thats not really my problem. LOL, let me explain, the ad gets them there for the free stuff, its then up to the owner to finish the conversion into actual spending via atmosphere, customer service, quality of food, etc. you get my point.

So in conclusion, what we’re saying is, no matter what niche your looking to get results for, our answer will always be the same, because the niche just determines exactly how you will tailor your ad, but the core components stay the same.

At times like this we look to the words of The Godfather: “I’m gonna make him an offer he can’t refuse.”

As far articles, look up as much as you can, and look at the advertising laws for your specific areas to see what work arounds you may need to implement. For example, Facebook will not allow you to advertise tobacco or tobacco related things. Some things you can do, is one, pay an influencer to promote your product and give them a code they can offer to followers to get a discount or something along those lines. You can advertise through podcasts. Advertise locally in older traditional mediums. Those are a few examples, but depending on what advertising platform you plan on using and your specific area, those restrictions and workarounds will vary.

This Week at Wizard | Super Busy Picking up More Local Clients

Just Checking in, we have been so busy we have not been able to post much on here. So I made myself set some time to make this quick update and let you all know what we’ve been up to!

We were Hired to create a t-shirt for the Local Rib Fest, a super fun project for us, it gave us a break from all the social media marketing we have been doing.

We have picked up yet another Local Client, the co-owner of one of the most popular hair salons in town needs re-branding. Super exciting project that we will post when we are finished.

We continue to service our clients with the most advanced levels of wizardry in all of our services.

We are working on Wizard’s Site, adding some new features, components, and A WHOLE NEW DEPARTMENT!

Stay tuned for the new department announcement, super exciting about it.

That’s just a summary of whats been going on this week and its only Hump Day, so we will see what the rest of the week has to offer! We continue to grow and gain more clients, nation wide and local, you have no idea how good this feels.

We feel as if a lot of the people making all these boring commercials we see on TV lack vision. The commercials are so stale, so bland, nothing what so ever special or unique or at all remember-able.

Are we saying we can do better? Well yes. Yes we are saying that, in fact, one of our commercials for a local cinema got such praise that a board of design executives for various ad agencies voted our commercial the best and said it beats anything currently on the market. That’s just their opinion, though they are experts, so perhaps we shall take their word for it.

Anyway, like we were saying, what the hell is going on in advertising lately, no ones thinking outside the box, or creating anything original or interesting. So when we do actually see a good ad, its quite refreshing and we get really excited. Hence, our new segment, “Top 3 Ads, As of Right Now”.

Don’t get us wrong we know there are a lot of good ads out their, but as of right now, these are our favorite ads, if you know of any better ads make sure to comment and let us know, we don’t get exposed to every ad so we could definitely be missing some.

What’s the deal with Twitter? It seems like it has come very far from what It once was, and not in a good way. Trying to organically grow on Twitter used to be a lot easier than it is today, it Seems like now it’s mostly for celebrities and politicians. You need to be a little more creative on Twitter to get engagement.

It’s important to have a Twitter if you are a business but just don’t get discouraged when you’re Twitter growth is slow at first, to get really good traction on Twitter you have to have an already known brand or really good marketing.

Personally I think the best strategy to go about growing a Twitter account would be kind of be edgy in your responses like Gordan Ramsey or Wendy’s is, what the kids refer to as “savage”, lots of the main fast food brands are running their social media accounts like this now, with wild success.

Twitter’s not dead by any means, the organic growth/engagement is almost there, lol, but if you’re creative enough, like everything else you’ll be fine.

It can’t just be us upset about the lack of features on Instagram. Don’t get us wrong we love the platform, but we can’t help but be frustrated at the absence of 3 key features that the platform should have had years ago.
If your just a regular user, you may not see the lack of these features as a big deal, but as a business operating multiple pages these features would impact us greatly.

1. Uploading from Desktop

We understand that its mostly a mobile app, but not being able to upload directly from the desktop has forced an unnecessary step thru a third party application. Whether it be a file transfer/sharing app like Dropbox or using an app like hootsuite or gramblr (though hootsuite offers nice management and scheduling so its worth it but that’s beyond the point). Point is, it would make things a lot easier and save time.

2. Export All Photos

To us, this is also a no brainer and we can not believe they have not offered this option yet, especially being as old as the app is, some users have thousands and thousands of posts now, and it would be nice to have to option to back those images up. But as of now the only way to do this through a third-party.

I’m going to do you guys a big favor right now and save you some time just in case this is something you want to do. It took us about 15 tries to find an application that actually worked. The most popular one we kept hearing about was, Instaport, but that did not work for us, we tried emailing support but got no reply.

The one that we finally got to work was a chrome plugin called, Images batch saver for Instagram.

3. Multiple Select & Delete

We find when managing multiple accounts, some clients like to tidy up their feed from time to time to make sure their wall is appealing in its overall grid view, some times this means deleting multiple photos, but still instagram has no features for this. The only way to achieve this is again through a third-party, the app that we went with was, Cleaner for Instagram, it worked perfect for selecting multiple images and deleting them, it has other features but we haven’t looked into them, let us know if we should!
